All legitimate and legal inspectors in Florida are licensed, however all mold inspection licenses are in fact very much alike.
However, all certifications are not all alike. Most mold certifications require no pre-requisites, and only a 2-day course in a hotel conference room. Our inspector holds the highly respected CIEC or Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant Certification. The CIEC certification requires 4 years of experience and a 4-year college degree with a background in the sciences. As a result, our certification stands out.

 

PREVIOUS CERTIFICATION

Prior to the CIEC certification we held the CIE certification. That previous certification was obtained in Ft Lauderdale / Broward County in 2006. A Harvard graduate with a master degree in public health taught the intensive week long course.
